The KitSites! Model Websites
Kennis has used four types of website as its KitSites! "website models". Read the descriptions below and on the "details" pages, look at the pictures of their pages, then visit the demonstration websites and see the actual pages.
When we have found out what you need, we select the model which suits you best. Then we work out with you which options you need, and tell our KitSites! computer software to build it. After that we load your text and images into it. It's on the Internet in days, not weeks or months.
Prices
Our prices are very low because, unlike our competition, virtually all of the work is done by computer.
To create a KitSites! Rental Website there is a $250 set-up fee, then a minimum monthly rental of $25. GST is included.
There are no other costs.
You don't have to spend money on buying a domain name or do anything technical. You only deal with us. If you want a domain name then we will help you to get one. A domain name will cost you extra.
If you make only occasional and minor changes to your website then we won't charge you for them. If you make regular changes then it's only fair that we charge you extra for the work. This will be either a higher monthly rental, or special bills for special work done, agreed in advance.
Charges for subsequent major changes to your website (adding new pages and features) will be agreed in advance, but are charged at $30 per hour, including GST.
Notes:
- If your organisation doesn't have any "company name" artwork for the "header" of each page, we will make a nice but straightforward header or logo for you for free. This can be replaced afterwards.
- If your organisation doesn't have any "company colours" we have several nice colour combinations to choose from, or you can suggest one of your own.
- Your website's address will be "yourname.kennis.co.nz". You can purchase your own domain name if you want.
- You don't have to find a company to put your website on the Internet. That is part of the deal.
- Our websites are for rent. We do not build a website which you then own. We build a website which we own and rent to you. We also do not do "rent to buy".
- We do not do e-commerce (shopping baskets).
- We will not allow large catalogues of products.
- If our examples don't seem to be what you want, tell us. KitSites! is our own software so we can make it to do just about anything. We can build other stuff.
- If you already have a website, and want to abandon it, then we can easily copy any good text and images to your new KitSites! Website.
